Milestone
That is it from this match. Pakistan have a win under their belt now. But for now, the focus shifts to the big clash between India and South Africa at the same venue. This is your guy, AkshayaKrishna Polya, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Arijit Kundu, who, alongside our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav brought you all the live-action of this mega encounter. We will meet in the next game. Until then, it is cheers!
Babar Azam (Pakistan Captain): "I'm overjoyed. Performed admirably in both bowling and batting. The length was critical. Everyone carried out their plans. We could chase better, in my opinion. A win, on the other hand, instils confidence. We'll do our best to win the next few games."
Scott Edwards (Netherlands Captain): "Batting first was still the correct decision. We reasoned that if we got a score, we'd give the bowlers a chance to defend it. Today's performance is simply insufficient. No partnerships could be formed, and no boundaries could be established. Bowlers always gave it their all, but 90 was never going to be enough."
Shadab Khan (Player of the Match): "This appears to be a true pitch. I simply attempted to bowl on the stumps. In the previous series, as well as in county cricket, I bowled to these players. Our bowlers applied pressure on the powerplay, and I was able to strike, which is what a team game is all about."
3:43 PM IST | Pakistan finally have a win under their belt as they beat Netherlands by 6 wickets!

Earlier in the match, Netherlands won the toss and opt to bat first. They didn’t have any answers to the express pace of the Pakistani pacers. They lost wickets in clusters on either side of the small resistance shown by Colin Ackermann and Scott Edwards, who stitched together a partnership of 35 runs for the fourth wicket. However, they ended up batting full 20 overs but put only 91 runs on the board for the loss of 9 wickets. For Pakistan, Shadab Khan scalped three wickets, while Mohammad Wasim Jr picked a couple of wickets. The rest of the pacers in, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Naseem Shah, collected a wicket each.

Chasing this smallish total, Pakistan lost Babar Azam very early on, thanks to a direct hit from Roelof van der Merwe. Mohammad Rizwan and Fakhar Zaman added a 37 runs stand for the second wicket. Once Fakhar fell, Rizwan continued to nudge around and added a partnership of 30 runs for the third wicket along with Shan Masood. While Rizwan was out just short of his fifty, Masood failed to finish the job. It needed Shadab Khan and Iftikhar Ahmed to complete the chase as they won by 6 wickets with 6.1 overs remaining. For Netherlands, Brandon Glover picked a couple of scalps, while Paul van Meekeren picked one wicket.

With this win, Pakistan stay alive one more day while Netherlands are knocked out with a couple of games in hand. Stay tuned as we bring you the presentation!
13.5 B Glover to S Khan
4 FOURRRR!! Full, overcooked at the off stump and Shadab drives this past the mid off fielder, and the ball races towards the boundary ropes. The fielder inside the circle is beaten despite a sliding effort and the cork surpasses the inner circle to bring glory in the Pakistan camp.
Pringle has come up from third man.
13.4 B Glover to S Khan
0 Good length at the stumps and Shadab squares up for a block of the middle of the bat. 1 run needed now.
