The final league-stage game is coming up tomorrow, with Namibia taking on South Africa. It’s simple for the Eagles and the Chevrons now — if Namibia win, they will qualify for the Final, while Zimbabwe will be hoping South Africa’s Net Run Rate drops below theirs, which seems unlikely. If Namibia lose, Zimbabwe will progress to the summit clash.

Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe Captain): "(Reflection on the game) Well, if you look at it, we bowled really well in the powerplay. I thought the way we controlled the game in the middle was a lot better than we have been so far in the series. Like I keep saying in the past, we have ticked a lot of boxes but we keep missing out on few of those boxes. Today, I feel we were far better. Really happy with the way we closed down the innings. They might have got 5 to 10 runs more but what people don't understand is that it's such a windy ground. So, hitting with the wind is a lot easier as it will go for boundaries. So, you have to accept all those things. We are happy with the way we went about our run chase.
(What stood out for him today?) Umm, it was how we bowled in the powerplay. We took 3 wickets in the powerplay. Also, how we fielded. How we took our catches early on. In this ground, it's quite tough to take high catches because of the wind. So, I thought how we started the innings with the ball and then how we went about our business with the ball and in the field certainly stood out for me today.
(Will he be watching the match tomorrow quite closely?) Umm, we all will be. But it is what it is. Let's see what the NRR looks like. I also think South Africa needs to beat Namibia at this ground as well. The score is 2-0 between them. We will be wishing for South Africa to win the game but I know both teams will play their best cricket and one will come out on top."

Gerhard Erasmus (Namibia Captain): "(On falling short again today) Yeah, I thought they bowled really well in the powerplay but we couldn't quite look like a confident side today. We sort of measured ourselves into the game a little bit after the first six overs. To try and reconstruct something for the bowlers, it was definitely not enough on that pitch.
(Was it an issue of match-ups where his batters struggled?) Umm, you can usually go and check that out afterwards I think in post match analysis and stuff. I don't see any particular match-ups if I have to think now. We knew what type of bowling they bring to us. We needed to execute our skills but unfortunately we were 3 down inside the powerplay which was a tough phase to fight back and get ourselves back in the game.

I think that's an amazing achievement in itself. We now have it in our hands to play good cricket tomorrow and try to get it to the Final. (What was the thinking when he walked out to bat) For me it was quite clear. When we lose wickets, we just try to carry forward the momentum. I wanted to play aggressively and take the attack on the bowlers.
