Tadiwanashe Marumani is a Zimbabwe cricketer who made his international debut in 2021.
An elegant left-handed top-order batsman, Marumani made his first-class debut for Rocks in the 2020-21 Logan Cup. Prior to his debut, Marumani was selected in the Zimbabwe Under-19 squad for the 2020 U-19 World Cup.
After jotting down some impressive numbers in the domestic circuit, Marumani was drafted in the Zimbabwe squad for their T20I series against Pakistan in April 2021. He eventually made his debut in the first T20I of the series, getting dismissed for a golden duck.
Marumaniās golden luck in 2021 continued as he was selected in the ODI squad to face the visiting Bangladesh squad in July 2021. He was included in the playing XI for the first ODI of the series, and just like his T20I debut, Marumani was again sent back to the pavilion without even opening his account.
So far, Marumani has struggled to cope up with the pressure of playing at the international level. Still raw at the moment, Zimbabwe coach Lalchand Rajput has to show patience with him and has to try and develop his batting skills.
