The face of Indian women’s cricket, Smriti Mandhana, on Friday, in the historic IND-W vs ENG-W One-off Test at the iconic Lord’s, achieved a momentous feat to her name.
Mandhana became the third Indian woman’s cricketer to play 300 international matches, joining the legendary Mithali Raj (333 matches) and captain Harmanpreet Kaur (374 matches). The lefty-batter has played 120 ODIs and 171 T20Is. This is also her ninth Test match.

The 28-year-old is the all-time leading wicket-taker in women's T20 Internationals and the leading overall wicket-taker for India in women's international cricket.
4) Jhulan Goswami - 284 (Tests: 12; ODIs: 204; T20Is: 68)
Indian veteran Jhulan Goswami played 284 international matches and took 355 international wickets before retiring in 2022. Her legendary career spanned 12 Tests (44 wickets), 204 ODIs (255 wickets), and 68 T20Is (56 wickets).

Notably, she retired as the all-time leading wicket-taker in Women's One Day International (ODI) history.
3) Smriti Mandhana - 300* (Tests: 9; ODIs: 120; T20Is: 171)
Indian opener Smriti Mandhana achieved a monumental career milestone, reaching her 300th international appearance during the historic one-off Women's Test match against England at the iconic Lord's Cricket Ground.
Moreover, at 29 years and 357 days old, the prolific left-handed opener became the youngest woman in the history of cricket to achieve this feat. She is only the 12th woman overall to feature in 300 international matches and the third Indian cricketer to do so.
2) Mithali Raj - 333 (Tests: 12; ODIs: 232; T20Is: 89)
Mithali Raj is one of the most successful batters in Indian women’s cricket history. Across these 333 matches, she amassed 10,868 runs, making her the highest run-scorer in the history of women's international cricket. She retired from all forms of international cricket in June 2022.
For the unaware, Mithali almost single-handedly propelled Indian women's cricket into the global spotlight, leading India to two ICC World Cup finals. Her 333 match appearances stood as the world record for the most-capped female player until New Zealand’s Suzie Bates broke it in 2024.

Indian World Cup-winning captain Harmanpreet Kaur holds the record for the most international matches played by an Indian woman across formats, with a career total of 374 caps.
Her comprehensive breakdown includes 8 Tests, 164 ODIs, and 202 T20Is. She continues to lead the national side, recently etching her name into the history books by guiding the Indian women's team to their first-ever World Cup victory.
