Whenever a team gets bundled out for a low total, they become a laughingstock across the world. Pakistan women faced the same thing on Saturday, when they were humbled by Harmanpreet Kaur-led India in the Asia Cup 2026 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
It was one of the lowest team totals vs India in women's T20Is, but there were more occasions that had more embarrassing records in this subject against the Women in Blue. Here, in this article, let’s take a look at the matter.
27 All-Out By Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, 2018
During the tournament opener of the 2018 Women's T20 Asia Cup, Malaysia were folded for 27 in 13.4 overs after coming to chase 170-run target against India. It remains the lowest-ever total against India women in T20Is.
Pooja Vastrakar, Poonam Yadav, Shikha Pandey and Anuja Patil all were among the wickets against Malaysia in Kuala Lumpur, while Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad bowled brilliantly, only to bowl maiden but fail to pick up any scalps.
37 All-Out By Thailand, Sylhet, 2022
Coming to bat first, Thailand were bowled out for just 37 in 15.1 overs against India when they met Women's Asia Cup 2022 match in Sylhet. Sneh Rana did the most damage, returning figures of 3/9 off her four overs to eventually win the Player of the Match award.

This time around, Deepti Sharma and Rajeshwari Gayakwad were among the wickets, claiming two wickets apiece. Meghna Singh had one wicket as well.
51 All-Out By Bangladesh, Hangzhou, 2023
Facing India in the Asian Games Women's Cricket Competition 2023 semi-final, Bangladesh, led by Nigar Sultana, could only muster 51 before losing all ten wickets in 17.5 overs against India, which took place in Hangzhou.
Pooja Vastrakar ran riot against Bangladesh, picking up 4/17 to leave the opposition stunned. Titas Sadhu, Amanjot Kaur, Devika Vaidya and Rajeshwari Gayakwad were other wicket-takers for the Women in Blue.
54 All-Out By Bangladesh, Bangkok, 2016
During the 2016 Women's T20 Asia Cup, Bangladesh, coming to chase 119 against India, were knocked over for only 54 runs. With the figures of 4-1-13-3, Poonam Yadav did wonders against the neighbours.
Anuja Patil, Jhulan Goswami, Ekta Bisht and Mansi Joshi had their success with the ball as well. Interestingly, it was the tournament opener as well, happened in Bangkok.
55 All-Out By Pakistan, Dubai, 2026
Pakistan, India’s arch-rivals, joined the top-5 list of lowest totals against the Women in Blue in T20Is on Saturday. They fell like a pack of cards throughout their innings, although they survived 18.1 overs.
Shree Charani and Prema Rawat emerged as new heroes for India, picking up three wickets each. Deepti Sharma and Shafali Verma had three wickets between them. Kranti Gaud and Nandani Sharma, on the other hand, went wicketless.
