Since the conditions in the UAE generally suits his batting style, Babar will look to bring his wealth of experience, consistency and class to the table for the Desert Vipers.Naseem Shah Tearaway Pakistan paceman Naseem Shah is set to be re-united with the Desert Vipers franchise in this year’s ILT20 2026 season. At the auction, the speedster was picked up by the franchise at his base price of $80,000.The youngster made his ILT20 debut last December itself, also for the Vipers, playing eight matches in the competition to collect 12 wickets at an impressive bowling average of 17.91.Moreover, young Naseem also decimated MI Emirates in the final with exceptional figures of 3-18 as the Vipers lifted its first-ever ILT20 title. Apart from coming up clutch in his maiden ILT20 season, the Pakistani fast bowling maverick also holds additional experience of playing in the UAE for the Pakistan cricket team. In his seven T20I appearances in the country, Naseem Shah has snapped eight wickets at an economy of less than eight an over.Fakhar Zaman Apart from acquiring Babar Azam and Naseem Shah, the Desert Vipers also snapped up explosive Pakistan top-order batter Fakhar Zaman at the ILT20 2026 auction. Much like Babar and Naseem, the 36-year-old cricketer bagged an $80,000 (PKR 2.2 crore) deal with the franchise. Like Naseem, Fakhar Zaman has also previously played for the Desert Vipers. Moreover, all of Fakhar’s 21 ILT20 career matches have come for the Vipers spanning over the last two editions of the tournament.During Vipers’ historic ILT20 2025-26 win, the blistering top-order batter chipped in with 260 runs in just 12 innings at an average of 21.66 and with a strike rate of 124.40.
