During the same period, he has struck at 139.53 against spin and hit a boundary every 6.61 deliveries. He is better equipped to handle spin in the top order, particularly once the field is spread, and can put pressure back on the bowlers rather than allowing them to dictate the tempo.That, in turn, would allow Tilak Varma to face more pace, which remains his stronger suit. He could move down to No.5, while also providing some protection to Hardik Pandya against hard lengths.
