Performing during the T20 World Cup 2022, which included a spectacular 48-ball 71 not out against Australia in their own backyard, gave the indication that he was here to stay.

Even during the last match of the T20 World Cup 2026, Tucker finished off in style. With the help of 10 fours and four sixes, the 29-year-old smashed an unbeaten 94 off 51 balls against Oman to help his side enjoy a commanding 96-run victory.

Even if Tucker does not get an immediate place in any IPL team’s playing XI, he can be picked as a back-up if any of the side’s regulars fail to deliver. Not to forget, he can keep wickets as well.

Matt Hollard

Taking wickets of Ishan Kishan and Shreyas Iyer, two of India’s hottest prospects in T20Is, in the same match brought Matt Hollard into attention. It was his debut game, and he could not have asked for better results against the defending T20 World Cup champions.

Even though Hollard does not have any experience playing franchise T20 leagues across the world, he can surely deliver at the big stage, as he did during the 1st T20I between India and Ireland in Belfast.

Along with consistent performance, IPL teams keep an eye on who can bring more attention if they have anything unique in their background. Talking about Jai Moondra, someone who was born in Rajasthan and later settled in Ireland, there could be few who can match his profile in terms of rarity.

It was Moondra’s debut match as well for Ireland, and he took two important wickets of Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube. Moreover, his economy rate and strike rate in T20s so far have been more impressive than Hollard, making him a serious contender to get the attention during IPL 2027 auction.
