Kent were down and out of the contest as they kept on losing wickets at regular intervals. Then, the Sharks would have thought a double-wicket over from Tymal Mills must have hit the final nail. But it was then Joey Evison's turn to shine.
Coming out at No.8, Evison staged an unbelievable 9th wicket stand with Fred Klaassen for 41* precious runs. In that partnership, he scored 32 runs off just 15 deliveries, hitting boundaries at crucial stages of the game. He finished his night with the bat with an unbeaten 48 runs off 24 balls, amassing three fours and four maximums.
Earlier in the chase, Daniel Bell-Drummond scored a fighting 47, when wickets were tumbling from the other end. However, Evison finished the opener's unfinished job. This victory has broken Kent's two-game losing streak. Meanwhile, Sussex have now lost two games in a row.

4 JOEY EVISON HAS DONE IT FOR KENT! WHAT A KNOCK FROM HIM! Slower delivery on a length, Evison makes some room and cracks it through the covers for a boundary.
