Milestone
UAE have pulled off a heist, with their first-ever T20I victory against Bangladesh. Both the games in the series have been cliffhangers, and one can hope the same in the decider on Wednesday. This is Arijit Kundu, signing off alongside co-commentators Deepak Prakash and Darpan Tikiya, with scorer/analyst Chandan Kumar Singh.
Litton Das (Bangladesh Captain)"Yeah, any loss is bad. They did their best and we were not up to the mark. You have to understand when you play in a small ground, when you are batting you also need to be calculative. What Rana did before, we were expecting more from him, still as a cricketer anyone can had bad day.

Whatever I did, it was not up to the mark, I expect myself to do better. Yeah, thank you."
Muhammad Waseem (UAE Captain & POTM): "I’m speechless right now. I’m absolutely delighted that we’ve managed to defeat Bangladesh. We were confident we could chase down the total, knowing the conditions well — and in the end, we pulled it off.

We stuck to our game plan, and I focused on playing my natural game while trying to bat deep. I’m honestly at a loss for words. We were hoping for a six in that final over, and thankfully it came. In the next game, we’ll continue to back our strengths."

12:34 PM IST and 11:04 PM Local Time: HEIST ALERT!!!📢 UAE have pulled off a stupendous act by getting their first win against Bangladesh in T20is. With a couple of wickets victory, they equalise the series heading to a decider on Wednesday. This is also the first-ever 200-run plus chase by UAE. What an evening for the hosts!

Aiming to equalise the series and stay in the hunt to claim the title, Mohammad Waseem and Zohaib Khan got off to a steady start inside the powerplay. While the latter looked scratchy against the new ball movement from Shoriful Islam, Tanvir Islam, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, and Nahid Rana's woeful bowling allowed UAE to get 68 runs inside the field restrictions. Even the introduction of Rishad Hossain's wrist spin failed to make further inroads as UAE scampered to 107/0 midway through the innings as Waseem raced to another half-century.

However, the break due to drinks allowed Bangladesh to get the first breakthrough, courtesy of Zohaib's lapse in concentration. Right after, Rahul Chopra followed suit, some lusty blows from Waseem and Asif Khan propelled them to 146/2. However, Waseem trudged off the field, dismissed for a 42-ball 82, making way for three wickets between the 15th and 18th over. Bangladesh held their fort tight with 29 needed off the last twelve balls, as Haider Ali and Dhruv Parashar produced lusty blows before the latter's dismissal to cut the equation to four runs needed off as many deliveries. A couple of runs followed in one legitimate delivery due to a no-ball before a dramatic double sealed the win with a ball to spare.

Having won the toss and elected to field first, UAE bowlers were forced to be on the back foot earlier in the first innings. Litton Das and Tanzid Hasan Tamim jolted a 90-run opening stand to back up a blistering 68-run powerplay. Although Saghir Khan got the better of Tanzid for a 33-ball 59, the middle order of Bangladesh ensured a foundation for a 200-plus total. Despite regular wickets, mini partnerships, highlighted by Towhid Hridoy's 24-ball 45, propelled the visitors to 205/5 in 20 overs.
