Milestone
So this marks the end of our coverage from the 2nd T20I of the 3-match T20I series between West Indies Women and Bangladesh Women. West Indies Women dominated the entire game and are the deserving winners.

For now, this is Saptak Sanyal, signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Karthik Raj and our scorer/analyst Vishnu Verma. Have a good day!
Largest Margin of Victory in Terms of Runs for West Indies Women in T20I:

1) 106- vs Bangladesh Women (Warner Park, Basseterre, TODAY)

2) 99- vs New Zealand Women (Potchefstroom, 16th October, 2010)

3) 83- vs Sri Lanka Women (Gros Islet, 16th November, 2018)

4) 75- vs Ireland Women (Dublin, 27th June, 2008)

5) 72- vs Ireland Women (Dublin, 29th May, 2019)
Hayley Matthews (West Indies Captain):  "That is probably as close to perfect as it can get. Was a scintillating start, the way Qiana (Qiana Joseph) batted in the middle overs as well. We bowled superbly too.Knowing there is a massive score helped with the discipline.

They are two class players (Qiana Joseph and Deandra Dottin) and once it is their day, it is hard to stop them. Everyone was pretty good, we had so much momentum coming in from the first innings.

(On possibly resting some players for the last T20I) We will have to wait and see. It will be great for the younger girls to come out and have an opportunity to express their skills."
Nigar Sultana Joty (Bangladesh Women Captain): "It was our plan to bowl first. Somewhere you need to think out of the box. We failed today. We gave away too many runs.

I think the leg spinners bowled very well. But the batters hit good balls for boundaries also. At the end of the day, it is just a game. We didn't execute our plans. We could've done better as a batting unit. But then we have another match left. We will try to finish the series on a good note."
Qiana Joseph (Player of the Match): "(On her mindset when she went out to bat) When I went to bat, I was just trying to get a good platform for the team.

The pitch was fantastic to bat. I trust my skills and back myself, that is why the performances are getting better.

(Batting with Hayley Matthews and Deandra Dottin) It is always a pleasure to bat with two of the best batters in the world, pleasure to get a good score."
Player of the Match: Qiana Joseph
Time for the Post-match Presentation!
6:38 AM IST and 9:08 PM Local Time | West Indies Women have got a mammoth victory by 106 runs and they are now 2-0 up in the 3-match WT20I series.

After being sent to bat first, West Indies Women got off to a flying start as Qiana Joseph and Hayley Kristen Matthews hit a few boundaries to keep the scoreboard going. Hayley got out for 27 off 18 balls hitting 6 boundaries but Qiana went in a handsome manner. She lost Shemaine Campbelle but her fight continued with Deandra Dottin. Qiana got her half-century and got out scoring 63 off 36 balls with 9 fours and 2 boundaries. Deandra Dottin hit 5 maximums and 3 fours to score 49 off 20 balls. Shabika Gajnabi played a cameo knock of 24 runs facing 13 balls to take the team score past 200 and finish with 201/6 on the board.

For Bangladesh Women, Fahima Khatun was the star picking up 3 wickets. Rabeya Khan took 2 wickets for 26 runs.

Coming to chase the run, Bangladesh got the first over in their favour as they took 15 runs off it. But after that everything went south for them. Sobhana Mostary, Taj Nehar and Dilara Akter fell in quick succession and that made the situation worse for them.

Sharmin Akhter and Nigar Sultana Joty made a partnership of 28 runs but they went very slowly. Joty got out for 10 facing 19 balls. Sharmin was the top scorer of the innings scoring 22 off 25 balls. Shorna Akter was the only one who batted at over 100 strike rate. She scored 16 runs from 15 balls. Lata Mondal struggled for 31 balls to score only 13 runs. At the end, Bangladesh Women could only muster 95 runs from their 20 overs losing 9 wickets.

Hayley Kristen Matthews, Afy Fletcher and Cherry Ann Fraser took a couple of wickets each. Zaida James and Ashmini Munisar took a wicket apiece.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentations.
