Right then. New Zealand win the T20I series against Pakistan by a 4-1 margin. The three-match ODI series between these two sides will begin on Saturday. Do join us for that. For now, this is Pritam Dey, signing off, on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and scorers Ashok Dayma and Sahil Khan. Bye bye.
New Zealand captain Michael Bracewell collects the trophy and is joined by his teammates as they pose for the photographs. Deserving winners of this T20I series.
Michael Bracewell (New Zealand Captain): "(On Duffy) Yeah not just him but the whole bowling unit was just phenomenal. Duffy was brilliant for us in the entire series and he has really stood up for us.
Yeah it's been great for us. The way we have managed to rotate players and everyone has chipped in whenever required. New Zealand Cricket is in a good place.
I think the consistency that we have shown in this series was simply outstanding. After losing at Auckland, the way we have fought back in the series is just brilliant."
Agha Salman (Pakistan Captain): "Yeah, obviously, they were outstanding. You have to give credit to them. They outplayed us throughout this series.
The way Hasan and Haris batted in Auckland. And the way Sufiyan bowled today. These are the positives we will take from this series.
When we are coming here, these are young players. We will back them and keep moving forward. They will play more games and gain experience.
I did alright. When you lose a series, it doesn't matter. It was alright with my own performance.
Completely different team. More experienced ODI team. The ODI players come and it will be a good series. The guys have a good experience of playing in New Zealand and it will be a different series."
Tim Seifert (Player of the Series): "Yeah after that first ball, I thought there was just one way to play tonight. The wickets were very bouncy in this series and I am proud of myself.
I am backing myself every time to take on the bowlers. I am just happy that it worked out well for me.
Finn is a great mate and it's a privilege for me to bat alongside him at the top.
Yeah, I have a couple of weeks off now with my family and then after that we have PSL. Some of the guys are part of my team as well. Looking forward to that one."
Player of the Series: Tim Seifert
Jimmy Neesham (Player of the Match): "The guys at the top have been very aggressive with the ball and it becomes easier to come behind them.
These are amazing bunch of boys and we are always keen to get going. It's a good thing when you don't get a chance to bat much. That means that your top batters are doing well."
Player of the Match: Jimmy Neesham
