That would be all from our side as we wrap up our coverage of this epic WBBL clash. For now, it's Soumarya Dutta signing off on behalf of my co-commentator Akshay Bhide and our Scorer/Analyst Zeeshan Naiyer. See you soon!
Ellyse Perry (Player of the Match):"I didn’t know. It was a great game of cricket. Really good contest between two sides who have a great rivalry. A great game of cricket and cannot separate the two sides.
The bowlers were amazing. At the 10-over mark, we had a chat to put some pressure on. We did pick regular wickets and it was a great effort.
Six balls and it all comes down to execution. Both teams did equally well. It ended up in a draw and I think it was a fair result with how both sides went about things today.
It’s a game of cricket. We are really stoked to be a part of that. Thank you."

1:49 PM IST and 7:19 PM Local Time- We have witnessed the most incredible game of cricket here at Hobart and there has been no separating the two sides at the end of it. We have the first tie of the tournament as the game was tied first at the end of the 40 overs and then at the end of the super over.
Mikayla Hinkley smashed a hattrick of boundaries for the Perth Scorchers to bring them back into the game from behind and it has been the story of the game for the Perth based side, who didn't give up despite being bowled out for a meagre 126. They did the same thing with the ball and despite Ellyse Perry's heroics, managed to take the game to the super over.
The Sydney Sixers Women got off to a timid start in the powerplay as the two openers Perry and Hunter didn't really get going early on. The veteran Perry took her time while Hunter was also chewing up the balls. The 29 run opening stand was broken with the wicket of Hunter. Amelia Kerr didn't last long either and she was dismissed by Ainsworth. The pressure was on the Sixers at that stage.
The pair of Perry and Gardner began the recovery job. They put together a partnership and managed to get the boundaries a lot more regularly. Gardner contributed 17 crucial runs before she was dismissed by Hoskin. After her dismissal, Ellyse Perry decided to take things on to her own hands as she upped the ante. The dynamic all-rounder got to her 50 and switched gears rapidly.
However Alana King made a remarkable comeback in the 18th over. She dismissed a set Ellyse Perry for 67 and then got rid of Brown for a duck. It created the pressure on the Sixers Women as Armitage failed to score the boundaries. The pressure was on Carmichael but she held on to her nerve in the final over. The lower order batter kept finding the gaps and picked up five twos in a row before she ran out of luck in the final ball and was run out. It led to the super over.
There's a tie at the end of the super over too! This is incredible cricket. At the end of 40 overs and a super over, it's a tie. The Perth Scorchers Women and the Sydney Sixers Women cannot be separated.

0.6 A Gardner to M Hinkley
4 FOUR!!!!! This game ends in a tie. Can you believe it? After 42 overs, we cannot separate these two sides. This game ends in a tie. I repeat, this game ends in a tie. Both teams share points.Three successive boundaries from Hinkley to end the match. Coming to the last ball, this was bowled right in the slot from Gardner on the stumps, Hinkley manages to get underneath this one and thump it straight back over the bowler's head for a boundary.
0.5 A Gardner to M Hinkley
4 Back-to-back boundaries for Hinkley. She is keeping her side in the hunt. Gardner tosses this up full around off, Hinkley steps out of the crease and drills it wide of mid off. Bray with a desperate dive inside the circle but fails to get any hand to it and it runs away to the fence. 5 required from 1 now.
9 runs to win from two balls now. The Scorchers Women are still in it. They will need a maximum.
