A classy right-handed batter, Mikayla Hinkley is an Australian cricketer who plays for Queensland Fire in the Women’s National Cricket League.
Hinkley rose through the New South Wales age-group cricket and has represented them at the U-15 and U-18 level cricket.
Hinkley started her career playing for the NSW Breakers, but limited opportunities to play forced her to look somewhere else and Queensland Fire came calling for her.
She is the first WBBL player to have played for four different clubs. Notably, Hinkley has played for Sydney Thunder, Perth Scorchers, Hobart Hurricanes and currently she plays for Brisbane Heat.
So far, Hinkley has been a part of 39 WBBL games and has scored just 138 runs, with a strike rate of well below 100.
