Sophie Devine (New Zealand Women Captain): "Yeah, it hasn't sunk it yet for us. I am so incredibly proud of this group. We have not made it to the Semis since 2016, so we will surely celebrate tonight on what we have achieved so far in the tournament and then we will focus on the next half of the tournament. Yeah, I agree that some of the results have not gone in our way leading into this tournament but I am really proud of the group on how they have stepped up and specially with such a young squad, it is pretty special. Well, I think they bowled really well in the first Innings, they took pace off the ball, credit to Pakistan the way they bowled but we somehow scratched through to 110. We knew Pakistan would have a crack at it with the Net Run-Rate in place but we bowled really well, incredible effort from everyone, Gaze was outstanding with the gloves behind the stumps as well. We have a day off tomorrow, then a couple of days training, the young girls will get a lot of experience and we will just soak it up at the biggest stage. These are the reasons why you play cricket and we will go out there and enjoy ourselves."
Fatima Sana (Pakistan Women Captain): "I think we were good in the bowling. But we need to improve in fielding and batting. We were not up to the mark in batting. I think our seniors will have to step up. As a bowling unit, we were up to the mark. We still have to improve in batting or else we won't survive in women's cricket. I think we were good in bowling. We were not up to the mark in fielding and batting. We have to improve in those areas."
Eden Carson (Player of the Match): "No words. It was pretty intense out there at the start. Great to get over the line. The Pakistan spinners bowled well and we tried to do the same. Use the wicket.
