A doughty right-handed wicket-keeper batsman, Robert White has been a part of the Middlesex age group system since the age of 10. White is a talented player who had to wait before his first-team opportunities arrived
He is a part of a golden generation for Loughborough MCCU, playing along with Hassan Azad, James Bracey and Sam Cook.
He eventually went back to Middlesex and the runs dried up for the Ealing born cricketer. He spent the majority of 2019 with Essex on loan and failed to make a positive impression on the team management.
Eventually, the keeper-batsman went back to his roots and re-joined Middlesex. A stunning 99 at Canterbury in the following season earned him a contract extension with Middlesex County.
A harrow-educated middle-order batter, White struggled to cope up with the pressure of playing for Middlesex. But the loan spell with Essex made him a better player and White eventually earned a permanent place in the Middlesex squad.
