Although their final against South Zone ended in a draw, East Zone secured the title by virtue of their commanding 372-run first-innings lead. At the centre of their triumph was captain Ishan Kishan, who produced a match-winning double performance with the bat and gave his side the leadership they needed throughout the tournament.Ishan Kishan Leads East Zone To Duleep TrophyEast Zone's route to the title was exemplary. They began their campaign with a victory over the North East Zone in the quarter-final before defeating the Central Zone by four wickets in the semi-final.
