Dewald Brevis stormed Pretoria Capitals to a fighting recovery against Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the final of the SA20 2025-26 season. Batting at number four and arriving to the crease at a precarious 1-2 in the second over of the match, Brevis charted 101 electrifying runs from just 56 deliveries with eight cracking boundaries and seven huge sixes.
The 22-year-old raced to his hundred from just 53 balls, after slapping a 26-ball fifty as the Capitals blazed past the 150-run mark on the big day at the Newlands in Cape Town.
The innings also sparked a wave of some overwhelmingly positive reactions from CSK fans, considering Dewald Brevis is set to reprise his role for the ‘Yellow Brigade’ in a couple of months’ time.
