As they met last time in the group stage clash of the T20 World Cup 2026, Team India kept the domination alive as Pakistan faced another shameful defeat.
The classic India-Pakistan rivalry often spills beyond the cricket field, but former Pakistani player Mohammad Yusuf took it to a very derogatory level. During a talk show, he body shamed Rinku Singh, and that grabbed attention.
Mohammad Yusuf stirs buzz with shocking comment on Rinku Singh
After a series of boycott drama, the highly anticipated India-Pakistan clash took place on the big stage of the T20 World Cup 2026. As the arch-rivals locked horns, the entire world watched India’s sheer dominance once again. However, despite the emphatic triumph, a Pakistani legend sparked controversy with an insulting remark about Rinku Singh.
While the dramatic clash was going on, former Pakistani batter Mohammad Yusuf appeared for a talk show called ‘Dug Out’. During the discussion, the focus suddenly shifted to young Indian star Rinku Singh, as one of the hosts remarked that India handing him the ball was an embarrassing moment for the Men in Green.
As everybody was giving their opinion on that, Mohammad Yusuf’s disparaging comment on Rinku sparked buzz. While body-shaming the Indian star, he said, “Chota sa hai Itna bada chakka mara (He’s so small, yet he hit such a huge six).”

The comment sparked massive attention, with many calling it a deeply derogatory shot at a fellow cricketer. While the India-Pakistan rivalry is known for its intensity, Yusuf’s comment left many feeling he had crossed the line.
Shaheen Afridi struggles to contain fearless Rinku Singh
While Pakistan saw India bringing Rinku Singh into the bowling attack as an embarrassment, their bowlers had no answer to his fury when he returned to his primary role with the bat. After captain Suryakumar Yadav was dismissed in the 19th over of the first innings, Rinku walked out to bat.
After carefully defending his first ball, Rinku Singh shifted gears stunningly, launching a brilliant strike off Shaheen Afridi on the third delivery of the final over. In the very next delivery, he smashed a massive six over the mid-wicket. With an unbeaten 11 in just four deliveries, he pushed India to finish on a safe total.
Team India tighten the grip on the rivalry throne
Over the years, the India-Pakistan rivalry has captivated fans’ hearts as the entire world felt the thrill of the outstanding thrills. However, Pakistan’s recent struggles have raised questions about whether the contest still retains its old intensity. Facing the Men in Green in the last match, Team India showcased their domination again.
While batting first, Team India put on a total of 175 runs, and Pakistan felt the heat in the second innings. While chasing down the total, their batting lineup faltered as they lost four wickets in just 34 runs.
As Usman Khan tried to flip the script with a 44-run knock, the Indian bowlers emerged as nightmares as Pakistan ended their innings in just 114 runs and faced a 61-run defeat. On the grand stage of the T20 World Cup, India tightened their dominance in the rivalry, extending the head-to-head record to a commanding 8–1 over Pakistan.
