Pakistan opener Saim Ayub extended his struggles with the bat in the ongoing T20 World Cup and registered a single-digit score against England. In the ongoing Super 8 match at the Pallekele Stadium, the Men in Green opted to bat first and got off to the worst possible start after Ayub’s wicket.
Notably, the southpaw scored run-a-ball seven and fell prey to Jofra Archer. On the first ball of the 3rd over, Ayub looked to dispatch the England speedster for a big hit, but gave a catch to Jacob Bethell, who took a brilliant catch.
