In the early hours of Monday (IST), his team, Mississauga Masters, faced Toronto Sixers in the first semi-final of the 2026 season.Bowling first in the 10-over tournament, David Wiese’s team were pushed against the wall when Ali Khan went full throttle. Known for his pace, the Pakistan-born fast bowler tried to use his pace, but it was too much for the dimensions of the venue.The ball went over Pollard’s and wicketkeeper Hamza Tariq’s heads. Comically, in a never-seen-before fashion, it also went over the boundary. While the commentators argued it should be given a six, they admitted that there is no provision for a wide-six or a bye-six. Earlier in the tournament, Mississauga had chased 100 runs in jut 4.2 overs, courtesy of Alex Lees and George Munsey’s berserk hitting.However, with the clip on Twitter/X going viral, netizens got to know that the boundary sizes are not even 45 meters.
