The much-anticipated fifth ball of the ninth over also deceived the new batter, Sukhjinder Singh, as another slower delivery slammed into the off-stump to bring glory to David Wiese. Adding to his folio, known for delivering his best in pressure situations, David Wiese has also been in superb form recently. Before the Canada Super 60, he played in the European T20 Premier League, where he represented Rotterdam Dockers and scalped 18 wickets in just 10 appearances. In the ETPL, he bowled at an economy rate of 7.30 while being one of the best strike bowlers, with a strike rate of 12.00. In the ETPL, he proved his worth with several significant spells while having three three-wicket hauls during the early stages.
