Singer and music composer Palash Muchhal has once again found himself in the spotlight following the cancellation of his wedding with Smriti Mandhana.
According to an exclusive report by Hindustan Times, actor-producer Vidnyan Mane has made serious allegations against Muchhal, accusing him of disloyalty and financial cheating.
Actor-producer claims Palash Muchhal was caught with another woman on wedding day
As per the complaint filed by Mane in Sangli, Maharashtra, he claims that Muchhal was allegedly caught with another woman during the wedding celebrations on November 23, 2025.
Speaking to Hindustan Times, Mane alleged that the situation escalated dramatically and claimed that members of the Indian women's cricket team were present at the venue. He further stated the team had also beaten the singer and music composer.
Speaking to Hindustan Times:
"I was at the wedding celebrations (November, 23, 2025) when he was caught red-handed with another woman in bed. Bhayanak scene tha, he was beaten up by the Indian female cricketers. The entire family is chindi chor. I thought he’d get married and settle in Sangli, but it has completely backfired on me." Mane said who claims that he is Smriti's childhood friend and was introduced to Palash by the Mandhana family.
Mane added, "When I met his mother (Amita Muchhal) last month, she said the budget to release the movie has now increased to ₹1.5 crore. They asked me to invest another ₹10 lakh or I wouldn’t get any money back. They started blackmailing me and threatened to throw me out of the film, thus I was forced to file a complaint."

Palash Muchhal has strongly denied allegations of financial fraud made against him by a Sangli-based businessman. He called the claims 'baseless' and 'factually incorrect.' He further stated that the allegations were made with the intention of damaging his reputation.
Muchhal also confirmed that he has sought legal counsel and that the matter will be handled legally.

"In light of the allegations made by Sangli-based Vidnyan Mane on social media, I wish to state that these claims against me are entirely baseless and factually incorrect. They have been made with malicious intent to tarnish my reputation, and they will not go unchallenged. My lawyer, Shreyansh Mithare, is exploring all legal avenues, and this matter will be dealt with strictly through the appropriate legal channels."
The controversy surfaced after Mane accused Muchhal of cheating him out of over ₹40 lakh, which Mane claims he invested in an unreleased film produced by the singer-composer.
Adding to his claims, Mane said he was later asked to invest an additional ₹10 lakh after being informed that the film’s release budget had increased to ₹1.5 crore.
He alleged that he was threatened with removal from the project and that, despite repeated attempts to contact Muchhal, he received no response.
