Saransh Jain Claims 7 For 40 As Madhya Pradesh Bowl Bihar Out For 99

Madhya Pradesh bowled Bihar out for just 99 after being asked to bowl first at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Day 1 of Round 3. Right-arm off-spinner Saransh Jain starred with seven wickets for 40 runs.

The recently capped India spinner continued his impressive form, completing 200 first-class wickets with this spell. Jain also registered his 11th five-wicket haul, completely breaking the back of Bihar's batting lineup.

Ayush Badoni Slams Century As Delhi Reach 309/5 Against Jharkhand

Ayush Badoni continued his red-hot form with another century after smashing a double hundred in the previous game. The Delhi captain stepped up after he elected to bat first against Jharkhand in Ranchi.

Badoni remained unbeaten on 106 at stumps, registering his sixth first-class century. His knock helped Delhi reach 309/5 by the end of Day 1, putting them in a strong position heading into the second day.

Prithvi Shaw, Rinku Singh Fall For Ducks On Ranji Trophy Round 3, Day 1

Prithvi Shaw had a disappointing day with the bat for Maharashtra, falling for a duck against Gujarat late on Day 1. Earlier, Maharashtra's bowlers had dismissed Gujarat for 223, setting up an important first-innings battle.

Rinku Singh also failed to make an impact, departing for a duck against Puducherry. The Uttar Pradesh batter had scored back-to-back centuries in his previous outings, making his early dismissal a setback for his side.
