As the IPL 2026 season enters its second phase, a star RCB player ranked cricket stadiums in India based on his playing experience, and incidentally, CSK’s home ground didn’t get good feedback.

IPL is played across several stadiums in India, as each of the 10 teams is allotted its specific home grounds. Every city offers a different culture, and hence, foreign players love the experience.

Josh Hazlewood disses CSK while ranking stadiums

Meanwhile, talking to Cricbuzz, RCB pacer Josh Hazlewood was asked to rank popular Indian stadiums from 1 to 10.

He placed RCB’s home ground, the Chinnaswamy, right at the top, followed by Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

However, Hazlewood seems not to have enjoyed playing in Chennai, as he placed the Chepauk stadium last on his rankings.

This was seen as a direct dig at CSK by fans, as they believe the RCB pacer dislikes the stadium and its atmosphere during the IPL. However, Josh Hazlewood didn’t provide any explanation for his rankings. That seems to be his personal preference.

Josh Hazlewood’s IPL stats at Chinnaswamy Stadium

That being said, in his IPL career, Josh Hazlewood has picked up 10 wickets in 7 games played at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru at a 22.80 average.

Overall, Hazlewood has 65 wickets to his name in 44 IPL games at a 20.76 average and 3 four-wicket-hauls. His best figures were 4/12, which he recently achieved against the Delhi Capitals in the 39th fixture of the IPL 2026 season.

So overall, Josh Hazlewood is a veteran in the IPL who has proven his mettle time and again in the T20 format, despite being well-known for his red-ball heroics.

Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar rattled DC

Meanwhile, in the latest RCB vs DC game in the IPL 2026, the pace duo of Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar completely destroyed the Capitals by bowling them out for just 75 runs.

In just 3.3 overs, DC lost 6 wickets with just 8 runs on the board. Hazlewood finished with 4/12 in 3.3 overs, while Kumar picked 3 wickets for 5 runs in 3 overs.

Both pacers bowled Test match lengths and capitalised on the seam movement and bounce off the surface. This was the first time ever in IPL that two bowlers took 3+ wickets each in the first 6 overs. RCB, meanwhile, chased the total down with 81 balls remaining and strengthened their net run rate.

That being said, RCB will now face the Gujarat Titans in the 42nd fixture of the IPL 2026 season on April 30 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This will be a big opportunity for RCB to climb back to the top of the table.
