WTC Final Qualification Chances For Rest Of The Teams
Australia and New Zealand are comfortably sitting at the top two spots in the WTC Table. However, Australia are the only team with a 80+ PCT. Rest, New Zealand and South Africa are the only teams with 70+ PCT.
Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh are in a better position compared to other teams because they have played just 2 and 3 Tests so far in the new WTC cycle respectively. On the other hand, the likes of India and England have played several more games and are in a state of bother.
Following this series, Pakistan will travel to West Indies, who are 9th on the ICC World Test Championship Points Table, while Bangladesh will tour Australia, who are on top of the table. Hence, the ongoing season is of utmost importance for both Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Talking about India, the Shubman Gill-led will travel to Sri Lanka in August 2026 for a two-match Test series.
