What really happened between Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya?

Rumours of a rift between the two cricketers first emerged a few months ago. The speculation grew after India’s T20 World Cup 2026 win earlier this year, when Krunal Pandya posted no congratulatory message for his brother, who was part of the ‘Men in Blue’ squad in the tournament. 

According to reports, the rumours stem from family disagreements over Hardik’s divorce with Natasa Stankovic.

However, other reports indicate that it was Hardik Pandya who distanced himself from others as he apparently navigated into his own personal life. 

Did Krunal Pandya Address The Rift Rumours With Hardik Pandya?

During the IPL 2026 season a couple of months ago, Krunal Pandya dismissed all rumours regarding his supposed rift with brother Hardik Pandya. 

In a video shared by the RCB franchise, the spin-bowling all-rounder stated that both he and his brother are competitive players trying their best to win for their respective teams. 

He said, "Yes I will be playing against my brother but nothing changes. You know, we both are quite good competitors but we are brother at the end of the day. So, we will give everything on the field and may the best team wins, which is RCB."

That said, neither Hardik nor Krunal has publicly addressed the speculation in detail, meaning the exact nature of their relationship and what may have transpired between them remains unknown.
