Dwayne Bravo Joins CSK Despite Being Contracted With KKR

The buzz for the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026) is already on! One of the beloved IPL teams, Chennai Super Kings, have already assembled for the upcoming season, with MS Dhoni touted to performance his last dance in the Yellow shirt. 

Ahead of the IPL 2026, the CSK have already started to bring in the vintage vibe for what could be Dhoni's last season. Earlier in the month, it was confirmed that former Super Kings' legends like Suresh Raina, Mike Hussey and Matthew Hayden will be hosted in an event called Roar'26 before the season kickstarts, on March 22. 

CSK to reunited with Dwayne Bravo before IPL 2026

Now that the tickets for the same event at Chepauk the going live, former CSK player and current mentor of the Kolkata Knight Riders, Dwayne Bravo will also be in attendance. 

In a video posted by the Chennai franchise, which features current CSK stars Ayush Mhatre, Rahul Chahar, Gurjapneet Singh and Dhoni himself, it was announced that Dwayne Bravo will be joining Murali Vijay, Badrinath, Raina, Hussey, and Hayden for Roar'26.

Interestingly, Dwayne Bravo and Matthew Hayden have been roped in by KKR and the Gujarat Titans, respectively. And now, with them attending a CSK event, a few eyebrows have been raised. However, both Dwayne Bravo and Hayden, will take permission before attending such an event. 

Additionally, popular Indian musical composer A.R. Rahman will be performing live for the Chennai fans present at the event at the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium. 

Where can fans buy the tickets for the CSK reunion?

As announced by the CSK, the tickets for Roar'26 have already gone live, with fans going wild to witness the CSK reunion. 

Tickets will be available starting March 15th through the official CSK app, the official Chennai Super Kings website and both the District app and its official website. 

As per the official advisory, the fans are asked to buy tickets from other platforms at their own risk.

How is CSK's schedule for IPL 2026?

For now, the BCCI has only announced the IPL 2026 schedule for the first 20 fixtures. Chennai Super Kings, who finished at the bottom of the table last season, will begin their campaign on March 30 against the Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati. 

The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led Yellow Army will then come back to Chepauk to face Punjab Kings on April 3, before heading to Bengaluru to play the reigning champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, on April 5. Later, Chennai Super Kings will be at loggerheads with the Delhi Capitals at home on April 11. 

In the first phase of the IPL 2026 schedule, the calendar for only four of CSK's games has been announced. After the Election Commission of India reveals the dates for elections in West Bengal, Assam and Tamil Nadu, the BCCI will announce the remainder of the IPL 2026 schedule.
