A Delhi Capitals cricketer is currently in the spotlight as Ujjain Falcons have formulated its squad. Young fast bowler Madhav Tiwari, who made his IPL debut through the Capitals franchise last year in IPL 2025, is set to headline the Falcons squad in the upcoming Madhya Pradesh League (MPL) T20 Scindia Cup 2026 season.
The 22-year-old has emerged as the biggest star attraction of his side, especially after bursting onto the IPL circuit with a couple of match-winning spells in successive games.
Ujjain Falcons pick Madhav Tiwari in MPL 2026 squad
The Ujjain Falcons franchise has assembled a 17-player men’s squad for the upcoming men’s edition of the 2026 MPL season. Promising young all-rounder and Delhi Capitals star Madhav Tiwari has been selected in the squad, alongside a slew of fellow domestic top performers.

The team features seasoned as well as young domestic talents in the form of Aryan Pandey, Yash Dubey, Adheer Pratap Singh among several others. Here is a look at the entire Ujjain Falcons squad for MPL 2026.

Madhav Tiwari, Aryan Pandey, Chanchal Rathore, Adheer Pratap Singh, Yash Dubey, Soham Patwardhan, Shubham Kushwah, Masoom Raza Kaif, Ojaswa Yadav, Gajendra Goswami, Aayush Mankar, Ankur Singh Chauhan, Rishi Miglani, Harshvardhan Hardia, Naveen Nagle, Vishesh Mudgal and Naveen Nagle.
Who is Madhav Tiwari?
Madhav Tiwari, born in September 2003, is an exciting young fast-bowling all-rounder. While he made his IPL debut for the Delhi Capitals franchise back in IPL 2025 last year, the 22-year-old is yet to play a single domestic match for the Madhya Pradesh cricket team.
The speedster was picked by the Delhi Capitals after having played for the Bhopal Leopards in the Madhya Pradesh T20 League.
While he did not get a chance to bowl for the Capitals last year, the tearaway paceman has picked up four wickets in just two innings of the ongoing IPL 2026 season. Moreover, the cricketer delivered both those spells in a match-winning cause for his side, in high-scoring games against the Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals.
Upon roping in Madhav Tiwari for the upcoming MPL 2026 season, Ujjain Falcons promoter Vinayak Kalani praised the youngster and the overall composition of the squad.
Vinayak said “We are extremely excited about the squad we have assembled for MPL 2026. Madhav Tiwari has shown tremendous character and skill at the highest level recently and we believe he will play a very important role for Ujjain Falcons this season. Along with him, we have several talented players who are eager to make their mark. Our aim is to play fearless cricket and give fans plenty to cheer about throughout the tournament.”
Madhya Pradesh T20 League 2026 to launch after IPL 2026
The MP T20 League 2026 is set to commence from June 3 next month, i.e., shortly after the conclusion of the IPL 2026 season. Ujjain Falcons, one of the new franchises set to take part in the tournament this year, will be taking on Gwalior Cheetahs in the opening match at the Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore.
As many as 48 matches will be played between 10 sides up until the final on June 26 at the same Indore-based venue.
