The star Indian all-rounder just got three of his bats stolen from a training ground in Agra.As per the cricketer’s admission, the estimated worth of the three player-edition bats amounted to Rs. 1.5 lakhs. Chahar has since requested the thief to return the bats, and jokingly claimed that he will go and complain to either Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi or Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Moreover, the cricketer even claimed that he was willing to pay off the thief to return the stolen bats. Chahar added that the thief might sell off the bats to a third party without ever knowing the actual worth of his player-edition bats. At the time, he had left his kit at the ground, but discovered they were missing when he returned for a batting practice session. In his eight appearances of the tournament, the fast bowler picked up just eight wickets at an expensive bowling average of 33.12. His international playing career consists of 13 ODIs and 25 T20I matches. However, he played the last of those 38 internationals for Team India way back in December 2023 during India’s home T20I series against Australia. In 12 ODI innings, Chahar picked up 16 wickets at an average of over 30, and scalped another 31 victims in 25 T20I outings at an average of 24.09.
