Moreover, the league has contributed to unearthing players like Washington Sundar, T Natarajan, Shahrukh Khan, B Sai Sudharan and many more.

With its ever-growing stature and reach, the TNPL will continue to script countless success stories in the years to come.

TNPL 2026 grows bigger, better and stronger

The 10th season of the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL 2026) will be contested by eight teams, each better than the other. The league matches will run from August 4 to 22, before the IPL-like knockout phase begins on August 23, with the final scheduled for August 28.

Notably, 20 of the league matches will be played at the NPR College Ground, Dindigul. Whereas the remaining 12 matches, including the playoffs, will be hosted at the iconic MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

The curtain-raiser of the TNPL 2026 will be contested between the two finalists of last season, i.e. the winners IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans and Dindigul Dragons.
