The selection committee also announced India A’s complete squad for the upcoming multi-day fixtures against New Zealand A in the country. Notably, the squad announcement was confirmed during a BCCI selection committee meeting on Tuesday, October 6. The meeting was attended by several selection committee members like RP Singh, Pragyan Ojha as well as by BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia.Notably, former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman also attended the meeting even though the ex-batter is not a member of the committee. He has all the information about the players’ injuries, so to avoid any miscommunication, Laxman should attend the selection meetings going forward.
