Arjun Tendulkar almost pulled off a Ravichandran Ashwin ‘special’ in the first semi-final of the 2026 Mumbai T20 season. Bowling his final over of the innings against the Aakash Tigers MWS at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, the speedster threatened to run out Sourabh Singh at the non-striker’s end.
Tendulkar warned Sourabh after the latter had left the crease in the penultimate over of the Aakash Tigers MWS innings. However, the 26-year-old did not whip the bails off and went on to finish his over instead.

In 18.4 overs of the MWS innings, Tendulkar threatened Sourabh Singh about attempting a possible run out considering the latter was stepping out of the crease during the speedster’s delivery stride itself.
However, unlike former Indian all-rounder Ravichandran Ashwin who holds a penchant of attempting non-striker’s run outs, young Tendulkar let Singh off with a warning instead.

Arjun Tendulkar’s eventful Mumbai T20 after one-match IPL 2026
The ongoing Mumbai T20 2026 season has been quite an eventful one for Arjun Tendulkar. The 26-year-old has picked up five wickets in the tournament, which included match-winning bowling figures of 3-11 against the Bandra Blasters in Mumbai on June 8.
In the same match, the hard-hitting all-rounder struck 66* runs off just 34 balls with four cracking boundaries and five scorching sixes. One of those sixes ended up hitting a young fan at the Wankhede Stadium. The cricketer personally met the injured fan after the match to check on his condition.
Incidentally, the Mumbai-based fast bowler played just one match for the LSG in his debut season for the franchise in the recently-concluded IPL 2026. In a high-scoring game against the Punjab Kings in Lucknow, Tendulkar picked up the huge wicket of firebrand opener Prabhsimran Singh to claim figures of 1-36.
