The Warriors had a serious chance of winning this game, but they failed to execute their plans under pressure during the death overs. That defeat leaves their season hanging by a thread. The final game of the day is coming up shortly!
Kieron Pollard (Toronto Sixers Captain): "Yeah, it's a game of uncertainties as you mentioned. With the format being T10 and the size of the ground being that small, you are never out of the game until the final ball is bowled.
(Different guys stepping up for the side) Yeah, everyone wants to have a good time here in Canada. Everyone wants to contribute in different phases of the game. Good to see local guys taking the opportunity and stepping up. We will take the victory and will comeback tomorrow.
(On the points table getting jammed) Yeah, two points are very important. For us, it is what it is. We will see what happens tomorrow."
Daniel Sams (POTM): "[On his impact with the ball in the first over] I mean, bowling the first over in T10 cricket, or Super 60 as it is here, is one of those situations where, if you can take a couple of wickets and break the game open, it makes a big difference because there are always going to be runs at some point. So, if you can take wickets up front, that’s ideal, and I was able to do that tonight.
[On Billings' wicket] Yeah, it’s always fun when you play against guys you play with all the time overseas, like me at Thunder for the last few years. So, I enjoyed that, but it’s not very often I hit the stumps these days, so it was good to see the middle stump cartwheel.
[On his crucial knock with the bat] It’s always been a part of my game that I’ve wanted more of. So, whenever I’m able to get it over the line, it’s something that’s really satisfying."

9:22 AM IST & 8:52 PM Local Time: That’s it! White Rock Warriors remain winless in the tournament. What a cracking contest this was as the Toronto Sixers clinch a five-wicket victory in a thrilling finish.
After being asked to bat first, the Warriors got off to a disastrous start as Darius Visser and Sam Billings were dismissed for ducks in the first over. Prabhpreet Bhullar provided some early impetus with a fine 21 off 9 balls, but wickets continued to tumble and the Warriors were reduced to 30/4. Aryan Sidhu then produced a fabulous 40 off 16 balls, while Dominic Drakes provided the late fireworks with an unbeaten 38 off 10 balls. The Warriors finally crossed the 100-run mark for the first time in the tournament and finished on 128/6 from 10 overs.
In reply, the Toronto Sixers also had a shaky start as Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Will Smeed departed cheaply, both falling to Baltej Singh in the third over. Nicholas Pooran then took the attack apart with a blazing 40 off 16 balls, but his dismissal at a crucial stage brought the Warriors back into the contest.
With the asking rate climbing, Toronto needed something special to keep the chase alive. Kieron Pollard chipped in with a quickfire 22 off 9 balls, before Daniel Sams (27* off 10) smashed four sixes in the ninth over to swing the momentum decisively in the Sixers’ favour. Needing just 7 runs from the final over, James Fuller could not defend the total as Toronto Sixers completed the chase and secured a five-wicket victory.
