For now, that is it from myself, Karthik Raj and my co-commentators, Mohammad Anab and Abhishek Sharma. A note of thanks to our scorer, Ashok Dayma as well.
I hope everyone enjoyed the coverage of this World Championship of Legends Final from us and not just tonight but the entire tournament, in fact. Lots of wonderful memories bringing back our favourites who delighted one and all after a long gap.
West Indies Champions captain Chris Gayle now goes to collect the WCL trophy. His players are waiting to celebrate and pose with that elusive title. DJ Bravo's Champion song is now being played in the stadium.
Chris Gayle (West Indies Champions Captain):"[Must feel great to lift the title?] Absolutely, man. So happy for the guys. England played very well, want to give a shout-out to them. DJ Bravo my man and Chadwick Walton, had a fantastic tournament.
[On his catch to dismiss Joe Denly] It is a final, you never know. You put in some extra energy but in my mind, I was like ''Don't pull a muscle Chris'. Happy that we will all go back safe and sound.
[Not an easy ride to win this title?] South Africa were the favourites at one point, England knocked them out. I missed the semi-final, Shivnarine Chanderpaul came in and played a terrific knock. He is the player-coach as well, fitted in so well.
[On Chanderpaul] I didn't get to see the innings but he has a terrific smile, Shivnarine Chanderpaul you might have to do it again next year.
[What it means for the West Indies] This is fantastic for the people of the Caribbean, I know it's a Legends tournament but the West Indies T20I team also drew 2-2 with India, so it's great for the Caribbean."
Ravi Bopara (England Champions Captain): "[Thoughts on the ball] Oh yeah, absolutely. I think on this ground, you've got to score a minimum of 200, regardless of the pitch. It was a very, very good pitch, and I thought the toss was quite important today. We wanted to bowl first, but there was a little bit in it early on. I thought the West Indies were brilliant. The way they bowled, they were disciplined and made it really difficult for us.
[Thoughts on West Indies Champions] Well, they're a good side. They bring their big players in, and they always turn up in the finals. If you look through the history, especially with this group of players, they've always delivered in the latter stages of the tournament, and they've done it again.
[On his experience throughout the tournament] Yeah, I think it's probably been the most competitive of the three years. Better and better players are turning up, with younger players coming in hungry to score runs, which makes it a lot more difficult for us oldies. But it's been a great tournament. I always love playing in it. It's one of my favourite tournaments to turn up for every year, so long may it continue."
England Champions skipper Ravi Bopara comes in to receive the runners-up cheque.
Chadwick Walton (Player of the Tournament): "(On his great form) Well, actually, I was playing some club cricket back home, so maybe that's the trick.
(How was that pull shot coming so well?) I really don't know.
(You don't try to overhit, do you?) No, I don't try to overhit it.
(On the team's excellent performance in the final) Well, the guys said that we needed this win. Last year, we didn't do so well, so this year we decided that we're coming hard for this one — very hard."
Player of the Tournament: Chadwick Walton
Shivnarine Chanderpaul (West Indies Champions): "[On his match-winning knock against the Australia Champions] I don't know. I wasn't sure if I had anything left in me. But look, I'm thankful it happened. God gave me the strength to go out there and make it happen for us. I know we were missing Chris, so somebody needed to step in and play a role for the team. Shai was batting really well, and we needed to build a partnership and take the team as far as we could, so the other guys could get the job done towards the end.
[On his mindset while batting] I think it was probably muscle memory because I wasn't really sure what to expect. I was trying to get myself in. I haven't played in many, many years, and with tournaments like this, players sometimes get injured, and you end up getting an opportunity. I never thought I would be out there, but I was. I knew I had to do something for the team and hopefully help us get through. I also knew Chris was going to come back. The guys did a fantastic job today. The way they finished the game, the hunger they showed, how much they wanted it, and the way they saw it through were really amazing.
[About the possibility of coming back the next year] I don't know! I feel much better today than I did in the first game, though."
