That's it from us for this match. Do tune in tomorrow for the series decider. This is, Nikhil Kulkarni, along with my co-commentators, Abhishek Singh and Somya signing off!!! Take care!!
Heinrich Klaasen:"We had got in two big hitters to play the Pakistan spin attack. Credit should go to all the bowlers and especially to Pretorius, taking 5 wickets in T20 is special. Tomorrow is a big night for us and hopefully, we can pull out a winning performance."
Dwaine Pretorius: "I am happy to contribute, we had big plans tonight and we did well. Mixed up line and lengths well. In the previous game, we played well but lost the big moments and today we did well in the big moments"
Dwaine Pretorius is the man of the match!!
Pite van Biljon gets the outstanding performance of the day award for his 42 off 30 balls.
Babar Azam gets the white ball cricketer of Pakistan award!!!
Stay tuned for post match presentation!!!
Babar Azam: "We scored less, didn't score in the middle overs. Back to back wickets hurt us. Bowling was not up to the mark, we made small mistakes. We need to work on our mistakes in whatever time we have got and come back tomorrow"
Hendricks: "Pretty happy camp. We needed to win this one. It's part of the game not to get a big score. Happy to contribute!!!"
Nikhil: Hendricks continued with his good form and played some exquisite shots to build a partnership with Pite van Biljon. Biljon at the other end batted sensibly and dominated the bowlers. Biljon was stumped when he was on 24 but the bowler had bowled a no-ball. He went onto make 42. Hendricks and Biljon stitched a 77 run partnership to get South Africa back in the chase. Hendricks was dismissed on 42 off 30 balls and Biljon was immediately dismissed in the next over. Pakistan was back in the game for a moment but Hendricks and Biljon had already done the damage. Qadir troubled Miller with some terrific spin bowling but that was not enough to win the game tonight. South Africa needed around 40 runs when Miller and Klaasen came into bat but they played sensibly to see through the chase.
