So MI Emirates have picked up a really impressive win in their opponent Sharjah Warriors's den. We hope you enjoyed our coverage of this ILT20 match. It is time for me, Sourya Chowdhury, to sign off on me and my fellow commentators, Deepak Prakash and Akshayakrishna Polya and our scorer/analyst Chandan Kr. Singh's behalf.  See you soon. Good night.

Akeal Hosein (player of the match): "The surface looked a bit patchy and I thought some balls will grip. I also bowl some swingers and in some surfaces it swings in more. I assess the situation when I come back in the second spell. If there is not enough swing, I spin it more and bowl regular arm balls. Getting the hat-trick would have been the icing on the cake. But it was still really satisfying."

Akeal Hosein is the Player of the Match.
Nicholas Pooran (MI Emirates Captain): "Losing the toss was a blessing in disguise for us. We had some responsibility as batters. We felt 170 would do the job for us. It was a slightly difficult track for batters. In the last three games, Akeal bowled the first over. We thought he would execute better. Bravo and Salamkheil did well in the end. Would be hard work from us from here on. We have had to work hard in the batting department. Our bowling group has really stepped up and bowled out the opponents in the last two games well under 100."
Tom Kohler-Cadmore (Sharjah Warriors Captain): "You don't go out there and panic. Most teams will bowl first on this ground. If you lose a lot of wickets at the top, you will struggle in the chase. We had to keep the stumps in the play. We didn't think it was too many to chase. But we were too far away in the end. It should be about not losing too many wickets in the Powerplay. It is about staying positive and keeping the same intent. And we would hope to come back stronger for the next game."
Biggest Six of the Match: Nicholas Pooran (95m)

11:10 PM IST, 9:40 PM Local Time I Sourya: MI Emirates have cantered to victory here in their ILT20 match against Sharjah Warriors after a scintillating performance. By winning this match by a gargantuan 106 runs, they have climbed to the top of the table.

Chasing a tough 181 runs on a tricky pitch, the hapless home team never got going, with the Emirates bowler using the two-paced nature of the pitch brilliantly. Spinner Akeal Hosein (4/23), was the pick of them, opening the bowling, turning it square, and almost getting a hat-trick. In one epic over he almost picked up four wickets, in the end getting three. He was ably supported by the experienced Trent Boult, Fazalhaq Farooqi, Dwayne Bravo and Waqar Salamkheil as the hapless Warriors gave up the fight. Niroshan Dickwella top-scored with 22, but never looked convincing as the team got all out for 74 within 13 overs.

Earlier, the visitors reached a big total thanks to the fireworks from Kusal Perera and Andre Fletcher, who put up a great partnership and scored 42 each after the team found themselves in some trouble early. Both scored with a great strike-rate and were backed by Nicholas Pooran (37 off 29), as the trio brought out the big hits that took them to a match-winning score (180/7).

MI Emirates thrash Sharjah Warriors by 106 runs. 74 all-out for the Warriors in the lowest score of ILT20.
