NIKHIL: So, we are done here with the hosts winning the game with relative ease as they just had 154 to chase against the visitors in Lancashire.

The Lancashire innings started with a slow pace as the visitors managed to score just 39 runs in the powerplay which laid a dodgy foundation for the star strikers who got going to some extent but even their innings was cut short by some excellent piece of bowling by White. Heldreich once feared getting hit for 6 sixes in an over when David scored 4 back-to-back sixes to him but he escaped that. For the hosts, all the bowlers bowled well but Sanderson was the standout today as he took 3 wickets at a decent enough economy while White chipped in with 2 crucial wickets to support his counterpart.

In reply to the target set by the visitors, the host started in an opposite manner scoring 63 runs for the loss of 1 wicket in the powerplay that laid a good foundation for them to go on and win this game. Curran and Gay started with all guns blazing and scored at a blistering pace. Gay fell short to Lamb as he got out after a quick-fire cameo of 30 while Curran continued and managed to score 50 runs, Joshua Cobb managed to be the top scorer for the hosts as he scored a half-century to get his side going and winning this game.
