KP captain, Mohammad Rizwan, "When the team is united, even your mistakes work in your favor. The team is doing well but we would like to improve our fielding standards. The way the boys are bowling, batting and finishing the match, I am very happy with the team."
Southern Punjab captain Sohaib Maqsood, "We lost wickets regularly so it made difficult for us to come back. While bowling, we were unable to pick wickets as we made some mistakes during the fielding and bowling. It was a one-sided match overall."

Another win for the chasing side this tournament as Rizwan and co. seal yet another victory in the National T20 Cup. After a brilliant effort with the ball in the first innings. KP dismissed Southern Punjab for just 152 which is not a good enough total on this pitch. Imran Khan was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets, Shaheen and Wasim got 3 and 2 wickets repsectively. The Southern Punjab batters struggled for timing, so did the KP batters, but the experience of Rizwan, who kept pushing for quick singles and doubles wherever and whenever possible, kept KP in hunt. He along with Sahibzada Farhan ensured that KP continue their good run in the tournament. Yes there were some hiccups through the end when the match was decided in the final over, but Adil Amin and Iftikhar sailed them through. Stay tuned for the presentations.
