Gujarat Titans climb to the top of the points table with a commanding win over Sunrisers Hyderabad at home. SRHโs struggles at the Narendra Modi Stadium continue as they remain winless against the Titans at this venue and this heavy defeat also dents their NRR.
Up next, we head back to Raipur where RCB take on KKR โ a contest that promises plenty of excitement.
For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Akshay Bhide, Ninaad Dixit and Ajay Pal Singh, along with scorers/analysts Paras Yadav and Manish Bishnoi and statistician Aman, who brought you all the updates from this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. BYE BYE๐

Kagiso Rabada (Player of the Match): [on the dropped catch] "I didn't react fast enough, didn't judge the speed of the ball and that was a crucial wicket to get. Ishan Kishan after we had them, I think it was 2 down. Would have been nice to have them 3 down. Luckily we got the wicket soon.
[on his bowling this season] Season in, season out all you try to do is do the best you can for the team that you're in. I've just been backed and it's been clear what my role has been. Just leave everything out there for the team. As simple as that.
[on rhythm] Rhythm is everything. For me it's about bowling as much as I can but also preserving myself to be match ready. You need to find a way to somehow click.
[on the chat with fellow bowlers] It's just about finding out the kind of pitch we're playing on and bowling accordingly but we each have our own natural attributes that we bring as bowlers. It's about seeing how much it can extract off those attributes without looking too far ahead. If your strength is not really working out, then you can look at something else. That's the sort of package we are looking at.
[on the surface] They showed how to bowl on it and we just tried to follow suit and did it a bit better. The wicket got a little bit more sticky and it really got hard for the batters. The patience and simplicity worked on this pitch."

Shubman Gill (Gujarat Titans Captain): "(On this victory) Yeah, definitely. Like we spoke at the toss that teams batting first have won more games here and it worked for us pretty nicely. I think we bowled really well. 170 on this surface was going to be tricky but if we bowl well, we will always be in the game.
(What was the target in their mind during their batting innings) Yes, we spoke about that. We had a talk that if we get anything close to 160-170, it won't be easy for them, especially with our bowling attack. That was the chat in the middle.
(On the top 3 of GT) Yes, definitely but I think the way Sai and Washi batted tonight, getting us close to 170 which at one point looked difficult to reach there but also with the way we bowled in the powerplay tonight was amazing. Kudos to both of our bowlers (Rabada and Siraj).
(What will be the outlook going forward?) Honestly, it's all about still being consistent and ruthless as much as we can. We are not a team which play a particular style or brand of cricket. We want to be a team that sees the wicket, assess the conditions and then play accordingly. It's always better to get 170-180 after assessing the wicket than crumbling to 140-150.
(On Jason Holder's inclusion in the bowling attack) Yes, definitely. He is such an experienced campaigner. The kind of lengths he has been hitting and he has been very relentless for us, bowling almost everyday, 4 overs on the trot. It's not easy in this weather. He is doing a terrific job for us."
