Shadab Khan (Rawalpindi Captain): "As I spoke during the toss, we have started doing what is required in modern-day cricket. The beauty of our side is our unit is young and failures come with approach. The pitch was a bit on the slower side but looking at the boundary and the wind factor, our bowling unit has done well. We will definitely try our bench strength as this is a long tournament and every youngster needs a chance to showcase their talent in the domestic circuit so, we will start doing that from the next game itself."

Special mention to Yasir Khan, who played a swashbuckling knock of 107 runs, helping his side chase down 168 runs with ease.
Earlier, after being invited to bat first, FATA posted 168/7 in 20 overs. Salman Khan JNR shone with the bat for FATA as the batter played at a rapid pace from the word go and remained unbeaten on 83 runs off 52 balls, helping his side post a formidable 168 runs in 20 overs. The cameos from Shahid Aziz (18 off 6) and Asif Afridi (16* off 9) played a pivotal role in FATA scoring 165+ runs.
Zaman Khan shone with the ball for Rawalpindi, taking three wickets and giving away just 25 runs in 4 overs. Kashif Ali, Shadab Khan, and Jahandad Khan contributed one wicket.
In pursuit of 168 runs, Rawalpindi lost Zeeshan Malik for a mere one run but despite losing a wicket early, Yasir Khan wreaked havoc with the bat, scoring at a brisk pace and taking the game far away from FATA.
