Two wins on the trot for England Lions in this series! They have wrapped up the contest convincingly and taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20 series. They will now aim for a clean sweep when they face Pakistan Shaheens in the 3rd and final T20, which will be played as an evening encounter.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off along with scorer/analyst Sahil Khan as we brought all the actions of this clash. Stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. BYE BYEđź‘‹
James Coles (Player of the Match): "Yeah, I am over the moon. Pretty happy to win the game and also the series.

It's always nice to get a chance to bat. I had to face the spinners in the first innings and then in the second innings, I wanted to use the win in my bowling.

Yeah, it's nice to bowl alongside two good spinners. Everyone are bowling really well. It was a good win for us."
Player of the Match: James Coles
Jordan Cox (England Lions Captain): "Yeah, it's good to win two games in a row. It was a collective effort from the boys. We felt that the wicket was not that flat as it looked like. We told the guys that 170 would be an above par total. That was pretty much our goal today.

Yeah, there is a lot of talent in that dressing room. We are trying to use them at the right times. Everyone are playing the natural game and are having fun.

(On Ben McKinney) Yeah for sure. I think that we need to have a destructive start in the powerplay and he is someone who can do that.

For sure. That's the goal for us. We have taken one game at a time. Now, we want to do a whitewash."
Shamyl Hussain (Pakistan A Captain): "Yeah, I think we didn't bowl well. Our fielding was not good too. We gave them the chances to score so many runs. We need to work on these things ahead of our third game.

There are certain things which we need to address before the last game and the ODI series.

To be honest, I think after the powerplay, we failed to get going. The asking rate kept creeping up and we lost wickets under pressure.

I am doing well but I want to bat for a longer period in the middle. I will look to do better in the next game."
6:50 PM IST & 5:20 PM Local Time: That’s it! A dominant all-round performance from England Lions as they clinch the 2nd T20 by 32 runs. With this comprehensive victory, England Lions have taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match T20 series.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan A won the toss and chose to bowl, and Shahid Aziz struck with the very first ball to dismiss Will Smeed for a golden duck. Akif Javed appeared to remove Ben McKinney in the next over, but an overstep resulted in a no-ball and handed England an early lifeline. Jordan Cox and McKinney then repaired the damage with a solid 61-run stand before Sufiyan Muqeem broke through to dismiss McKinney for 38 just after the powerplay.

Skipper Jordan Cox departed for 34 while trying to up the tempo. James Coles anchored the innings superbly with an unbeaten 48, while useful late contributions from Dan Mousley (19) and Tom Moores (16*) powered England Lions to a competitive 183/5 in their 20 overs.

In reply, Pakistan Shaheens came out all guns blazing in the chase. Openers Shamyl Hussain and Maaz Sadaqat put together a solid 41-run stand to lay a strong platform. The partnership was broken in the 5th over when Scott Currie dismissed Shamyl Hussain for 20. Maaz Sadaqat then combined with Saad Baig to add another 29 runs for the second wicket before Sadaqat departed for 32.

After Sadaqat’s dismissal, Pakistan Shaheens struggled to keep up with the required rate and began losing wickets at regular intervals. The middle order failed to build any substantial partnerships, which dented their momentum in the chase. Hasan Nawaz (20) and Saad Masood (30) tried to revive hopes with a fighting 48-run stand for the sixth wicket, but the asking rate had already climbed sharply. Eventually, Pakistan Shaheens were bowled out for 151 in 19.3 overs.

James Coles (4/18) was the pick of the bowlers for England Lions, delivering a standout performance with the ball. England Lions sealed the contest with a convincing win to take a 2-0 lead in the three-match T20 series.
