Yasir Shah (Winning Captain): "Our bowlers and batters did well. I am happy from the result."
Dasun Shanaka (Captain, Harare Bolts): "It was an okay-okay day for us, we didn't start well and we need to focus batting more on it. We need to get going in the first 2 over. I think we were 20 runs short today. Their bowlers did well. We need to be aggressive and attack more."
Colin Munro (Player of the Match): "Bowlers set the game up for us. We got a small talk from the bowlers in the mid innings break and the message was clear that it is an easier pitch as compared to yesterday."
Player of the Match: Colin Munro
Power hitter of the Match: Colin Munro
Catch of the Match: Yasir Shah
Onto the presentation now!
8:20 PM IST and 4:50 Local Time: The Durban Wolves have cruised to a victory, winning by seven wickets in this fourth match of the Zimbabwe Zim Afro T20 League. What a dominating chase from the Wolves as they hunted down the 100-run target with ease!
Will Smeed opened up with a quickfire 13 off 10 balls before Colin Munro took the stage with a sensational knock, hammering 59* off just 29 deliveries. He was simply unstoppable! Regis Chakabva chipped in with a short cameo of 10 from 6, and Mark Chapman finished the job with a calm and collected 12* of 10.
In the bowling department, it was a rather lacklustre day for the Harare Bolts, as their target never really posed much of a challenge. Aftab Alam, Dasun Shanaka, and Faraz Akram each managed a wicket, but their bowling and fielding didn’t quite fire today, allowing the Wolves to chase comfortably.
And with that, the Wolves take home the win, and we still have two more exciting clashes coming your way! So stay tuned, folks, because this league is just heating up!
