What a game of cricket it has been as Warwickshire won the game by 5 wickets.
First Warwickshire bowlers stopped Durham on a score of 158 runs which once looked easily achievable for the Warwickshire batters but the Durham bowlers started off very well dismissing 4 of their top-order batters for less than 40 runs.
But after that, it was the partnership of Chris Benjamin and Adam Hose which turned the match away from Durham. And most importantly it was Chris Benjamin who was the show stopper with unbeaten 68 runs of 36 runs which included 4 huge sixes and 6 boundaries. And along with that Carlos Brathwaite also made an unbeaten 23 runs off 17 balls which made sure the Warwickshire team easily win this match.
At the start of the second innings, Durham bowlers most importantly Brydon Carse and Liam Trevaskis got into the nerves of the Warwickshire batters and removed the top order easily with a low score of just less than 40 runs. But after that, it was the show of Chris Benjamin along with the help of Adam Hose and Carlos Brathwaite and they showed their big-hitting powers to easily take their team home with more than 3 overs remaining.
