So, that also brings an end to our coverage of this game between Leicestershire Foxes and Durham. For now, this is me Hiren Kumar signing off on behalf of my scorer/analyst Ghandera Singh Thakur. CHEERS!!!
1:50 AM IST and 9:20 PM Local time: Durham win by 7 wickets and register their first win of the season. A clinical performance from them with both bat and ball.
Opting to bowl, the Durham bowlers were spot on and restricted Leicestershire Foxes to 176. Nathan Sowter and Callum Parkinson were the top wicket takers and picked up 3 and 2 wickets respectively.
With the bat, the Foxes were off to a decent start inside the powerplay but looked ordinary in the middle overs. Ben Cox played a solid knock of 50* runs to given them a good finish in the death.
Coming to the chase, Durham batters were off to a good start with skipper Lees holding one end firmly. He played a match winning knock of 71* runs and finished the game for his side. Bedingham was also brilliant at the top and scored 43 off 32 balls. So, Durham finally have a win to their name after losing two back to back games.
19.3 W Mulder to Robinson
4 FOUR! Durham win by 7 wickets and are off the mark this season. Yorker length, around off, Robinson backs away and guides it past point for a boundary.
3 runs more needed. The captain and bowler have a long discussion before this ball and have a couple of fielding changes. Here we go..
19.2 W Mulder to A Lees
1 Yorker, on leg, clipped away to mid wicket for a single.
19.1 W Mulder to A Lees
2 Yorker length, on stumps, Lees digs it out into the leg side for a double. Brilliant running this.
