Jess Jonassen (Player of the Match): "Fortunately, I bowl against them a lot while in the Australian nets. It felt good to come out on top. Our bowling attack did a good job. Even Radha bowled well and we did a fine job. I feel actually lucky to be standing up here.
Meg knows me pretty well. She knows I love the ball in hand and I’m just trying to step up. In the last 18 months, it wasn’t quite coming out of the hand well but I’m happy with the way it is coming out now.
You get good value for your shots here. Along the ground or in the air. As a bowler, you have to find the perfect pace. Tonight, the quicker you bowled, it skidded on. So, had to bowl a bit slower tonight.”

Meg Lanning (Delhi Capitals Women Skipper): "We felt about 20 short after the position we got into. But we did well to get wickets in the powerplay and put Gujarat under the pump.
I was a bit frustrated in the first 30 runs. I would have loved to strike better. But once I got settled and the match-ups worked, it was good to get going. We lost a few wickets but nice to finish on that score.
Titas bowled beautifully in her debut game. Shikha also bowled well and when it's swinging, it helps our bowlers.
You just have to keep winning in this competition. There are quality sides in the tournament and you just have to bring your best foot forward every time you take the field.
It's a quick turnaround. But it's good sometimes as you don't have to think much about the game. Mumbai are a quality side and can't wait to face them."
