That concludes the presentation and that also wraps up the 44th encounter in IPL 2023 between GT & DC. Another day and another last-ball thriller in the competition. Join us tomorrow for a doubleheader and stay tuned for more cricketing action from around the world. MohammedShami (Player of the Match): "Just trying my best to bowl at the right lines and lengths and the right areas no matter which format I am bowling. Disappointed that we lost today. It was not a difficult score to chase. We lacked that one partnership and it happens in the game of cricket. The ball was not swinging much so should have chased it down. But plenty of games still to go and I am sure we will bounce back."
Player of the Match: Mohammed Shami
David Warner (Delhi Capitals Skipper): "Our bowlers were amazing. Our batters struggled early on. Shami presented a good seam. We lost early wickets. But Aman and Ripal played the anchor role. It was a fantastic way to finish our innings. We just keep finding ways to keep losing wickets. I don't know what happening with our batting honestly. We tried to have a positive intent today but it didn't come off eventually.
We wanted to swing the new ball and get wickets. Khaleel was brilliant on this comeback and Ishant is getting forever younger. I was getting nervous when Tewatia was going off. Nortje could not get it right today but Ishant was always clear what plans he wanted to execute."
Active Catch of the Match: Wriddhiman Saha
Longest Six Hit in the Match: Rahul Tewatia (88 m)
Most Fours Hit in the Match: Hardik Pandya (7 fours)
