We were treated to an Urvil Patel special tonight! What power, what a sensational knock from the youngster β€” and a heartfelt one too, dedicating it to his father. More importantly, it’s two crucial points for CSK as they climb up to 5th place, while LSG continue to struggle at the bottom of the table.

It’s Super Sunday and the action doesn’t stop! The evening game is already underway in Raipur, with the defending champions off to a flying start.

For now, this is Pritam Dey signing off on behalf of my co-commentators Akshay Bhide, AkshayaKrishna Polya and Ajay Pal Singh who, along with scorers/analysts Paras Yadav and Manish Bishnoi & statistician Aman brought all the updates of this clash. Switch tabs and catch all the excitement from the blockbuster clash between RCB and MI!

Jamie Overton (Player of the Match): "(How good did that feel?) Yeah, all good. It got a bit tight at the end. But yeah, nice to get over the line and get two points on the board.

(Thought process on going into bowling the over where he picked up two wickets) I think it was just doing what I do well. I was just trying to keep it on top of the stumps. Nice to get one strangled down the leg side and then to get Rishabh. Nice to get couple of wickets. Obviously to get Josh (Inglis) out at that moment was crucial. Those kinds of shots sometimes go your way, sometimes it doesn't. (On Inglis' dismissal)

(On bowling with control) I am working all the time with Eric regarding it. I think with my action, I fall off a couple of times while bowling. That's just sort of how I do things. It's definitely been a bit of a work which I have done over here this year. I started working on it since the World Cup. I am just trying to clean up everything and working how to bowl here in India as it's very difficult to bowl here compared to everywhere else in the world.

(On staying focused on very loud stadiums) Ah, I think it's relatively easy. I think you have to focus on yourself rather than thinking what the batters are doing. They are allowed to play good shots. They are allowed to hit good balls for six and four. As long as you can control what you want by smashing your areas, the rest of it is out of my control.

(Feeling good?) Yes, feeling good. Pace is good. I will try to keep pushing on."

Ruturaj Gaikwad (Chennai Super Kings Captain): "[Did it get closer than they would have liked?] Yes, but chasing 200, when you start the innings, you always know that it will get to 18 or 19th over. It was tacky for the new batter. It's been a while since we chased down 200. It was good.

[On them pulling back things after LSG got off to a flying start] I think huge credit and hats off to Josh (Inglis). He played some amazing shots to which we didn't have any answers. We didn't have any plans to him. He played some amazing shots. At the first Time Out, Sanju came and said we have to pull back things. Be it to restrict them to 210 or 220. That pumped up everyone. It was about getting those wickets. Everyone was eager to make a comeback after the first Time Out. That's the dedication that everyone showed.

[On his bowling changes after the powerplay] It was about getting your bowlers right. Defending or attacking from one end. They were 30 runs ahead at the end of the powerplay. That six to 10 overs phase, Noor and Jamie bowled really well and pulled back things. Overall, we knew it was a good wicket. Anything around 220, we were happy chasing. But they looked like getting 240. We pulled back things well.

[Was 220 the par score?] The wicket was good. The bounce was good and the boundary was a bit short. Happy to pull back things and restrict them to 220.

[On the break between games] Some of our guys needed that break. It's been hot and humid in this part of the country. It's hard to field for 20 overs. We needed that break. We need to make sure that we tick the boxes moving ahead. We have worked on a few areas in the break and happy to get the win.

[What they need to do to keep winning?] Not yet. It's still three games to go. It's about keeping it simple as long as possible. I know it's easy to say it when you are under pressure or under the pump. But that's what we will be looking to do it."
