That brings us to the end of another long double header day at Dindigul. It started with rain delaying the action. However, once the teams went on to the park, it was a shower of fours and sixes all across the turf. Hari Ragavendra is a name we all must keep in mind. His 98 in a losing cause showed shades of some of the great left handers of out game.
Narayan Jagadeesan (Chepauk Super Gillies Captain): "[On his consistency with the bat] I mean, it is just about the process, and it is about how you try and execute and stay as clear as possible. As you said, there is a lot of credit that needs to be given to the way Mokit played and right from the first ball he was at his best.
[Any special plans against Madurai who were the only unbeaten side?] It is a T20 game and on that particular day who is going to play well, you never know. The better team will win. This is such a format which is thrilling for everyone. It is so fast paced, and it is just about picking on those momentums and having clarity.
[On bowling only 4 overs of spin] I think, on this wicket I felt that when the spinners were bowling it was skidding through and it was a lot easier for the batters to go after the spinners. I just decided that I will give pace to the batters and if I wanted to bowl slower to them, it will be the fast bowlers who do that."
