That's it for today. This is Ishan signing off with my co-commentator Karthik Raj along with our scorer/analyst Paras. We will be back with all the live updates. Until next time, Good Bye from our side, Take Care!!
Irfan Pathan, Bhilwara Kings skipper: Seen lot of stuff in my mind, heart but he played a great knock (Yusuf). We were under tremendous pressure as we dominated the first ten overs but we let them come back into it. (On Kaif) Absolutely, the way he was playing, I thought early on he was pushing on the front-foot too much. In the end, it was an outstanding finish from us.
Harbhajan Singh, Manipal Tigers skipper: They were the best team and deserve to be on the winning side. Kaify is one of those hard-working guys. So glad that he batted well till the end. Sad we could not defend but it was a great game. It is obviously a pleasure to play along with Muttiah Muralitharan. Thanks to this league for having a player like Muralitharan.
Fidel Edwards | Player of the Match: "Yeah, it was always good for us to get a good start with the ball, it was an exciting game for the spectators and it was so good for cricket also. I think we will still hang with each other (On spending time with Tino Best)."
Time for the Post match Presentation!
23.52 IST: Tino Best at his best with the bat, finishes off the game with a boundary. So Bhilwara Kings will start their campaign with a sensational three wickets win over Manipal Tigers.
Earlier with the contributions from Mohammad Kaif (73), Pardeep Sahu (30) helped Manipal to put up a challenging score of 153 despite losing four wickets on 15 runs.
In reply, Bhilwara didn't get the desired start, their opener Naman Ojha (6) and William Porterfield (4) got dismissed in the first two overs of the innings. After that, Nick Compton and Tanmay Srivastava put up 46 runs partnership for the third wicket before Compton got dismissed by Harbhajan on an individual score of 18. In the span of a couple of overs Tanmay (28) also departed followed by Rajesh Bishnoi (13 off 15 balls). After 14.5 overs, Bhilwara were 99/5 and the responsibility was on the shoulders of Pathan brothers. The duo played some glorious shots in the middle and took this game deep. But the younger Pathan (Irfan) got dismissed on the individual score of 15 runs in the 18th over. They needed 23 runs in the last two overs. The elder Pathan (Yusuf) started the 19th over well with 10 runs off the first two balls but got out (44 off 28 balls) on a low full toss on the very next ball after that. But Tino (Best) in the last over stood tall (15* off 7 balls) for them and pulled off a sensation chase in the end.
For Manipal, Ryan Jay Sidebottom bagged three wickets while Chris Mpofu scalped a couple of wickets. Harbhajan Singh and Muttiah Muralitharan also chipped in with one each. Hang on for the presentation folks!
